Golden Garden Kicks Off BEER WEEK TOKAI, New WCB Tap Opens
At the beer pub Golden Garden in Hiroshima's Shintenchi, a rollout tied to BEER WEEK TOKAI has begun. In addition to the tapping of West Coast Brewing's "after_dawn," Bishu Brewing's first-ever arrival of Hoppy Kölsch also makes an appearance, and the Tokai-themed lineup will be expanded step by step.
In an Instagram post, Golden Garden in Shintenchi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima City shared its latest tap information. The post says the bar plans to gradually add beers and food related to the Tokai area, and anticipation is building for future taps.
The highlights this time are the two labels introduced as new taps of the day.
- West Coast Brewing "after_dawn"
A 7.5% West Coast IPA. In the post, it is described as a glass packed with bitterness and umami.
- Bishu Brewing "Hoppy Kölsch"
First time stocked at Golden Garden. At 4.5%, it is said to combine fruitiness with a dry, crisp finish.
The inventory update also noted that among the OK!! Hiroshima collaboration beers, HIROSHIMA RED LAGER is sold out and HIROSHIMA RED IPA is available in cans. In addition, during the happy hour every day until 7 p.m., the pub is offering discounted draft pours from its local HIROSHIMA NEIGHBORLY BREWING.
Golden Garden is a beer pub where you can take your time comparing a wide range of draft beers in the city center. While following the added Tokai-themed taps, it is also a chance to enjoy the familiar Hiroshima-local context at the same time. At the time of the post, it was explicitly stated that "not all of the beers are Tokai-themed yet," making the process of the lineup coming together part of the appeal.
