On July 18, café&beer arca-archa in Osaka’s Namba-Sennichimae area posted a summer-minded nine-tap lineup and positioned itself as a place to cool down in the heat. The bar opened at 1:00 p.m. and encouraged guests to hydrate while dropping in for an early drink.

The headline pour was “13 Red Ale / Session Red IPA” from a collaboration between arca-archa and Wands Brewery, followed by “HybridTheory / IPA,” “Lemon Saison / Saison with Lemon,” and “Mango Shake IPA,” giving the lineup a strong Osaka-local character. The range continued with “Boku Cardamon / Cardamon Wheat,” “Beppin Sake Lees Ale,” “STOUT,” “PUNK IPA / IPA,” and “Heartland / Pilsner,” so drinkers could move from bright and fruity to fuller, darker, or familiar classic styles.

The food menu leaned into summer as well: water eggplant sashimi, bitter melon with ume and kelp, fried okra, jalapeño and salsiccia pizza, and shiso genovese pasta were among the suggested pairings. The venue’s official site also notes nine draft taps and around 100 bottled beers, and its bright street-level room, terrace, and basement space make it a flexible stop for solo drinks or small gatherings in Ura-Namba.
