Kobe's Onaji Ana no Mujina refreshes its taps with Oni Densetsu and more
On July 15, Kobe's craft beer pub Onaji Ana no Mujina posted a fresh tap list featuring Oni Densetsu, Y.Market Brewing, Marlowe, and North Park. The lineup moves from a clear beer into hop-forward hazy styles, making it a strong fit for hop lovers.
Onaji Ana no Mujina in Sannomiya, Kobe, is a taproom that only pours beers the owner considers worth serving. In its July 15 tap update, the bar leaned into summer with a lineup that started with a clear beer and moved into hazy, hop-forward selections.
Draft highlights
- Oni Densetsu, `Kinki Lumino Single Ver.`
- Ymarket.brewing, `NEW鬼ヶ島Ⅸ`
- Breakedge, `Approach`
- Marlowe, `William`
- North Park, `X-Raying Nectaron`
- Marlowe, `Ghost Signatures: 3cone`
- Marlowe × Beak Brewing, `YEAHNOYEAH`
The balance matters here: a clean, transparent opening beer, then a run of cloudy IPA-style pours that let the hop character take over. It is the kind of tap list that rewards slow comparison rather than one-and-done drinking.
The can selection is equally serious. Brasserie du Bas Canada's `DDH CALIGLA`, `PREMIERE BATCH`, and `ASTERION` are joined by beers from ONE DROP, root+branch, Fidens, Lumen, RaR, Deep Fried Beer, TreeHouse, North Park, Phase Three, and Messorem. Because the venue also serves cans and bottles on site, it is easy to move from draft to packaged beer without leaving the room.
Food options include masala cashews, 2Bro pizza, and "Nama-chan's ates," and the bar also notes that outside food is allowed. For beer fans in Kobe, this is a compact spot where the tap list, packaged beer, and snack selection all point in the same direction: drink well and take your time.
The post also lists upcoming events: a TTO from July 24 to 26, BDP on July 25, and the Autumn Oni Festival from August 7 to 9.
