The craft beer BLUE located on the 2nd floor of Garden Building II in Sagamidai, Minami Ward, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, announced in a March 20, 2026 post that it would be opening two guest beers. This time’s featured pair is a stark contrast: a sour designed for easy drinking, and a commemorative hazy beer that leans hard into hop character.

The two beers tapped that day were:

- BREWMIN’ "Sour no Uwasa" Sour Ale (Toyama)
- Shared Brewery "DDH Double HAZY TROPICS" DDH Double Hazy IPA (Tokyo)

In the post, "Sour no Uwasa" was introduced as an "entry-level sour ale" with a light body, brisk drinkability, and a pleasant acidity. Meanwhile, "DDH Double HAZY TROPICS" stands out for its juicy character from the DDH process, the rich mouthfeel contributed by oats, and a special 8th-anniversary specification from Shared Brewery featuring 1.5 times the usual dry-hop amount compared with a standard hazy.

The tap list on the day consisted of the following eight beers, offering a wide range from lager to stout.

1. Shared Brewery "TROPICAL PEAK" Hoppy Lager (running low)
2. BREWMIN’ "Sour no Uwasa" Sour Ale
3. Shared Brewery "DDH Double HAZY TROPICS" DDH Double Hazy IPA
4. NOMCRAFT Brewing "Island Grove" Okinawa Mango Ale (running low)
5. AFURI BREWING "THE PIONEERS" Yuzu Pale Ale
6. GANGI BREWING "KLASHER" American IPA
7. Repubrew "POWER HAZY" Hazy IPA
8. Nomodachi Brewing "Ama no Iwato" Chocolate Stout

Built around these two new taps, the lineup makes it easy to compare citrus, tropical, and roasted flavors side by side. True to a beer pub, craft beer BLUE’s appeal is that you can cross styles and choose based on your mood that day.
