Taru Taru in Takamatsu taps ISEKADO's Mr.DANK as guest beer
The beer pub Taru Taru in Kawaramachi, Takamatsu, has added ISEKADO's IPA Mr.DANK as a guest beer. The beer is presented as a hop-forward but balanced IPA, built around Strata with Citra and Mosaic adding bright fruit character.
Taru Taru is a beer pub in the Kawaramachi area of Takamatsu, Kagawa. The bar pours five taps focused on beers from around Kagawa, and also offers lamb dumplings and bottle sales, making it a place where drinkers can stop in and follow the tap list as it changes. In the Instagram post, the bar introduced ISEKADO's IPA, Mr.DANK, as a guest beer.
Mr.DANK is built around Strata's tropical aroma, layered with the berry and citrus brightness of Citra and Mosaic. It has a clear hop presence, but the recipe is aimed at balance rather than sheer weight, so it stays easy to keep drinking.
The brewing note is also interesting: instead of the previous method of dosing Incognito directly into the fermentation tank, this batch uses it in the whirlpool. That change allows the hot-side extraction to round out the bitterness and lift the aroma more cleanly, while keeping the beer's dank character intact.
For a bar like Taru Taru, which pairs local taps with guest pours, that kind of hop-forward but balanced IPA makes sense. With lamb dumplings on the side, it's the sort of beer that invites a second glass without demanding too much of the palate.
