Canal brewing (Oimachi, Tokyo) updated its tap list in an Instagram post dated April 4. This post announced the arrival of Iwate's `Green Neighbors Hard Cider`, introducing it as a hard cider made with 18 kinds of apples. One of the biggest features of the day is that you can enjoy cider as well as beer.

Canal brewing is Oimachi's first brewery and craft beer specialty shop. It uses a standing-bar style, making it a place where you can casually stop in for just one drink. Its location within walking distance of Oimachi Station also makes it convenient, whether after work or for weekend daytime drinking. The post also shows that the shop opens from 2 p.m. on weekends, making it easy to drop by early.

Taps of the day

- `C #3 (IPA)` / Canal brewing
- `NARA CRUSH (Rice Lager)` / CHORYO Craft Beer × Barebottle Brewing
- `窯焚物語 第一楽章 着火の儀 (West Coast IPA)` / CAMADO BREWERY
- `BLOSSOM SYNDICATE (HAZY PALE ALE)` / CRAFT BANK
- `berry belly (blueberry sour)` / open air
- `OLD SHILLING Scottish Heavy (Scottish Ale)` / Matsumoto Brewery
- `ALL. 十八種のりんご (Hard Cider)` / Green Neighbors Hard Cider
- `DarkLands -Nitro Ver- (Belgian Stout)` / RIOT BEER

With one beer each from IPA, rice lager, hazy, blueberry sour, Scottish ale, and Belgian stout, the lineup covers a wide range of styles and is well worth comparing side by side. In particular, `Green Neighbors Hard Cider` seems like a good palate reset between beers.

The post also includes information about upcoming events. Combined with the rotating taps, it is an update that makes the shop's movements easy to follow.
