Beer O'clock, a craft beer pub in Chiba’s Chuo Ward, has added two new beers to its tap list: Rio’s “Panzamast” and CAMADO×Shimanami’s “Braumeisterstolz.” The two beers offer distinctly different drinking experiences.

Rio’s Panzamast is a 6.0% Fruit Ale inspired by the melody known in Kashiwa, Chiba, as “Panzamast,” which is heard around town in the evening. The beer interprets the cocktail Darjeeling Cooler, combining a gentle black tea aroma with the sweet-and-tart character of raspberry and a touch of ginger. Its layered profile makes it an appealing choice for drinkers looking for a fruit-forward beer with something beyond simple sweetness.

Braumeisterstolz, brewed by CAMADO×Shimanami, is a 5.0% Pilsner created as a collaboration between two brewers. A clean yeast-derived aroma is joined by the refreshing herbal character of three hops: Saaz, Hallertauer, and Merkur. Its crisp, aromatic profile should work well both on its own and alongside food.

A portion of the sales from Panzamast is scheduled to be donated through the Chiba Prefectural Chapter of the Japanese Red Cross as disaster relief for the heavy rains in Chiba in August 2026. It is a beer that connects an individual tap selection with support for the local community.

Beer O'clock is located on the first floor of the No. 2 Yamazaki Building in Fujimi, Chuo Ward, Chiba. Guests can choose among a changing selection of craft beers in a relaxed pub setting. Those seeking tart fruit character may want to start with Panzamast, while Braumeisterstolz offers a lighter, herbal and refreshing alternative.
