Mukuraf Newly Taps Nomcraft's "Banana Kick"

The beer pub Mukuraf in Shinohashi, Koto Ward, Tokyo, announced on Instagram that it has newly tapped Nomcraft's "Banana Kick." The beer style is Banana Weizen. In collaboration with SEOUL BREWING, it is introduced as a brew that combines the soft haze of a traditional wheat beer with the fruitiness of banana. The aroma of ripe banana is joined by a subtle clove note. It is said to have a creamy, smooth mouthfeel, and the Weizen-like acidity brings out the savory depth of food.

The draft lineup is also worth watching. In the post's "Today's Beer Lineup," the selection includes HUMANS BEER's "GUAVA and MANGO" Wheat Ale, Kyoto Brewing's "HOP IDOL-STRATA," Kakegawa Farm Brewing's "Forever Love" Hazy IPA, and FLORA FERMENTATION's "Raven" West Coast IPA. From fruit-forward wheat beers to IPAs with sharp hop character, it is a lineup that makes it easy to choose according to your mood.

The bottle beer selection is even more extensive. GOODHOPS offers "MURAKAMI SEVEN IPA," "MURAKAMI SEVEN LAGER," "Tohno no Kaze," "Tasogare no Cascade," "Yoki na Nectaron," "HAZYGOOD1 (Hazy Pale Ale)," and "HAZYGOOD1 (Hazy IPA)." Brasserie Knot has "TIP," "MOON," "NoMaps," "YAMASACHI," and "NORA." West Coast Brewing brings "Hop Fua," "Time Slip," "Starwatcher," "Alive," and "Slow Motion." Green Neighbors rounds things out with "ALL. 18 Kinds of Apples," "FUJI SINGLE," "LA FRANCE," "SOUR TOKI ver," and "KOGYOKU SINGLE."

The food menu includes beer-friendly dishes such as lamb stew with couscous, homemade focaccia topped with fresh whitebait, and fried conger eel. For a night when you want to alternate between a pint on draft and a bottle, Mukuraf is a dependable stop. The post notes that last entry is at 8:00 p.m.
