Octo One Brewing Nagakuru Brewery to Participate in Fujisawa Craft Beer Fest 2026
Octo One Brewing Nagakuru Brewery, based in Minakami, Gunma, announced that it will have a booth at FUJISAWA CRAFT BEER FEST 2026, to be held in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, on April 4 and 5. In addition to beer brewed at its new factory, it also plans to serve hard cider.
Octo One Brewing Nagakuru Brewery announced its participation in FUJISAWA CRAFT BEER FEST 2026 in an Instagram post published at 9:02 a.m. on March 8, 2026. In the post, the brewery described the appearance as its "once-a-year homecoming booth." It said it would bring many beers and hard ciders brewed at the new factory it relocated to last year.
The event is scheduled to be held over two days, April 4 and 5, at the Fujisawa Station North Exit Plaza (Sun Pearl Plaza). Hours are set for 12:00 to 19:00 each day, and the event will be canceled in the case of severe weather, based on the forecast two days before the event. According to the organizers, this year will be the largest edition yet, with about 30 craft breweries taking part, along with food, merchandise sales, and DJ performances.
Octo One Brewing is based in Minakami, Gunma Prefecture, and operates under the idea of helping people enjoy Minakami's nature more through beer made with Minakami water. The brewery focuses on brewing that makes use of local water and agricultural products, and in addition to its regular craft beers, it also produces hard cider. Known for operating a taproom in the hot spring resort area of Minakami, this brewery's appearance at a major event in the Tokyo metropolitan area looks set to be an important opportunity to bring regional flavors to a wider audience.
