Matsudo Beer joins a July-only Bakegorou collaboration and serves a limited mussel dish
Matsudo Beer, a craft brewery in Matsudo City, Chiba, will take part in a limited-time collaboration running from July 1 to July 31. The taproom will offer a special dish made with Matsudo White, linking the brewery to a local summer event.
Matsudo Beer is a brewery and taproom located about a three-minute walk from the east exit of Matsudo Station in Chiba Prefecture. According to the brewery’s official website, it makes house-brewed beer from malt and serves it alongside food in its taproom.
The current campaign is part of "Bakegorou no Minna to Flag Gohan," a July 1 to July 31 collaboration event. In an Instagram post, Matsudo Beer says it will join the event and serve a limited menu item, "Mussels Steamed with Matsudo White." The dish is also described as coming with a Bakegorou flag.
Matsudo White is one of Matsudo Beer’s regular offerings, and it also appears in the brewery’s seasonal gift lineup, making it a natural fit for a summer-focused promotion. By pairing a local character event with a house beer and a food dish built around it, the brewery highlights the connection between beer, food, and place.
The collaboration is part of a wider neighborhood project involving several restaurants around Matsudo Station. For Matsudo Beer, it is another opportunity to present its local identity through a limited-time menu and a distinctly regional summer event.
