Yamorido refreshes its seasonal dishes and lines up house beers and guest taps
Yamorido, a brewpub in Kyoto’s Fushimi district, has refreshed its seasonal small-plate menu. The lineup includes zepplini with myoga and shiso, namerou spring rolls, and green curry with beer-cooked summer vegetables, alongside six house beers and two guest taps.
Yamorido, a brewpub in Fushimi, Kyoto, has updated its seasonal small-plate menu. In the post, the shop says the new items range from beer-friendly snacks to dishes that can be enjoyed by guests who are not drinking alcohol.
The new recommendations are three dishes:
- Zepplini with myoga and shiso
- Namerou spring rolls
- Green curry with summer vegetables and beer
The zepplini uses the aroma of myoga and shiso in a small fried bread. The spring rolls pair namerou with fragrant herbs for a lighter bite. The green curry is built around beer-cooked depth and topped with fried summer vegetables, making it an easy match for something fresh from the taps.
The tap list is just as notable. The house beers listed are Chabuki / Japanese Saison, Chirin / Weizen with kuromoji / Yamorido x NUDE, Minamikaze / Extra Pale Ale (XPA), Yamagori Gold L / Golden Ale, Gogo no Stout / Oatmeal Coffee Stout, and Nanamin (Yamorido 7th anniversary brew) / Juicy IPA. Guest beers from Devil Craft in Tokyo, Oscura Dorada and Westerly, round out the list.
Yamorido is known as a brewpub that brings together craft beer, food, and the atmosphere of a restored Kyoto machiya. This refresh keeps that balance front and center: seasonal food designed for beer, and a tap list with enough range to make a visit worthwhile for both casual drinkers and beer fans.
