According to the release, the beer was brewed with the sake yeast used in Seiryu Shuzo’s flagship Iyo Kagiyaya junmai ginjo labels, Kuro Label and Shikkoku Label. The style is listed as Fruited Sake Ale. The aroma is described as elegant and ginjo-like, with white-grape notes, while the finish is crisp with a lingering malt character.
Ehime-grown lemon and a touch of salt were added to bring a Setouchi-inspired character to the beer. The specifications are 6.0% ABV and 15 IBU, with Cascade hops and Pilsen malt.
