CRAFT BEER Market Tokyo Torch Branch Taps Baird, Vector Brewing and 5 Beers; Lemon Pepper Gyoza Also Debuts
At CRAFT BEER Market Tokyo Torch (Otemachi, Tokyo), guest beers from Baird Beer, Vector Brewing, T.Y. Harbor Brewery, and RePubrew have been put on tap. At the same time, a new "Lemon Pepper Gyoza" dish has also debuted, creating a lineup built around beer and gyoza.
At CRAFT BEER Market Tokyo Torch in Otemachi, Tokyo, information was shared about the latest guest beers to go on tap. The shop is a beer pub on the 1st floor of TOKYO TORCH Tokiwabashi Tower, and its appeal lies in how easily craft beer pairs with gyoza and spice-forward dishes. It is an easy place to recommend, whether for an after-work drink or a meal with a small group.
Beers tapped that day
- Numazu Lager / Baird Beer
- Neko Champ Rose / Vector Brewing
- Watermelon Sour / T.Y. Harbor Brewery
- Memory Crusher / RePubrew
- 12% Triple IPA / RePubrew
Looking at the lineup, it ranges from lager to sour to hop-forward IPA, making it a set that invites comparison tasting. RePubrew appears twice, and a high-alcohol triple IPA is also available. The shop's own post also noted that high-ABV IPAs move quickly, so anyone after one should get there early.
On the food side, Lemon Pepper Gyoza is now on the menu. It is a dish brightened with lemon and sharpened with pepper, and the shop also suggested pairing it with Craft Rock's kölsch. Putting gyoza and craft beer front and center is very much in keeping with the shop's straightforward appeal.
In addition, the venue is also promoting banquet courses that include two hours of all-you-can-drink craft beer, with combinations of appetizers, gyoza, karaage, and more. True to a downtown beer pub, it seems to be a place with a wide range of uses, from a casual drink to a group meal.
