Tap Lineup

Today's draft lineup has seven beers. It starts with Oni Densetsu's "Kinki Pale Ale Comet Single Ver.", which comes in with a crystal-clear look, followed by BreakEdge's "REC" and rootandbranch's "Propeller", a pair you can enjoy for their hazy depth. In the middle are Shiga Kogen Beer's "Snow Monky", Minoh Beer's "Blooming IPA", Barbaric WORKS's "MASTER HEIR", and rootandbranch's "The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivisim - Chapter I...", making it an easy lineup for side-by-side tasting, including the differences in appearance.

The newly tapped beer is another BreakEdge pour, and according to the shop, it leans even more toward BreakEdge's character than the previous one, with a decidedly haze-forward finish. It sounds like it will be served while the staff give a walkthrough to a newbie (provisional), so it's a good choice for a day when you want to sip slowly while following the tap changes.

Food and Atmosphere

Food is masala cashews and 2Bro pizza. The snacks are centered on not getting in the way of the beer, making it easy to follow the tap's expression as-is. Inside, they ask guests to keep perfume use to a minimum while allowing outside food and other non-beverage items. However, dried squid is not allowed. In Kobe's Sannomiya, it's a beer pub worth remembering for the care it takes with beer aroma.

Bottles Too

The bottle lineup also includes Shiga Kogen Beer's "Extra Quadrupel (wood-barrel-aged Yamabushi)", "Wood-barrel-aged Yamabushi ore no sake ga nome ne no ka / grand cru #2", and "Wood-barrel-aged Yamabushi taro \"grand cru\"", so the selection goes beyond draft beer into a wide range of aged styles.
