Craft Beer Kitchen Kokoro no Tsuki, a beer pub in Yokohama's Noge / Hinodecho area, posted its Aug. 21 lineup on Instagram. The second-floor space is built for pairing craft beer with Chinese dishes, and the 3 p.m. opening gives it an easygoing, settle-in-and-drink feel.

Two beers were newly tapped that day. Hop Kotan Brewing's `Iho` combines Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, and Cascade from Kamifurano for a citrusy, floral profile with a crisp bitterness. Seapine Brewing's `Citra Hazy IPA` is a Citra-only hazy IPA, described as bringing lemon, orange, and tangerine notes.

The full six-tap list also included Garden Path Fermentation's `The Twisted Branch Out`, Nara Brewing's `Double Swisher`, Hop Kotan Brewing's `Koki wa Sake no Toga`, and Hop Kotan's `Inversion`. The mix leans across fruit, bitterness, and hop aroma, making it easy to compare styles side by side.

The post also pointed to the kitchen side of the bar: stir-fried wood ear mushroom and egg with bitter melon, mapo tofu, Shanghai-style fried noodles, shrimp mayo, and yodare wontons. A three-day closure from Aug. 24 to 26 was announced as well, so this looks like a good stop for a measured beer-and-food session before the late-summer break.
