Tiels Brewing in Mishima, Shizuoka, posted on Instagram on September 1 that autumn has arrived and that an autumn Märzen is ready. The brewery operates a small 250-liter brewhouse and makes beers with fruits and agricultural produce from Izu and Shizuoka. Its attached pub, TIELS TEA & TAPS, serves beer-friendly dishes, tea, and non-alcoholic drinks.

The post also included a September hours update. From September, the regular closing days move to Tuesday and Wednesday. Opening hours are 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, and 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Fridays. Last food orders are taken one hour before closing, while drinks and desserts are served until 30 minutes before closing; final entry is 45 minutes before closing. During the Silver Week stretch from September 19 to 23, the brewery will open from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and it will be closed on September 24.

For food, Tiels highlighted currywurst, a Shine Muscat and prosciutto salad, and a Shine Muscat parfait as recommended pairings for Märzen. The lineup leans into autumn produce while keeping the beer at the center.

The post also pointed to an anniversary-week event at GOOD CONDITION STAND in Morishita, Tokyo, running from September 1 through 5. On September 5, the final day, five Tiels beers are set to be tapped together. Reservations are handled by phone only, not via DMs or social media.
