The lineup that arrived

Five of Totopia Brewery’s latest releases have been added to the beer pub drifter’s stand in Togoshi-Ginza. The lineup is built around three Hazy beers and two Sours, making it easy to enjoy the contrast between richly hazy beers and sharply defined sour beers.

3 Hazy beers

On the Hazy side are `Biasphobia`, `Flamephobia`, and `Duskphobia`. `Biasphobia` is a 2xMash DDH Hazy TIPA, with the sweetness of fully ripe mango layered over dank aromas. `Flamephobia` is a 2x Mash DDH Hazy DIPA, bringing forward aromas reminiscent of white grapes and white peach. `Duskphobia` is a DDH Hazy Pale Ale, combining bright citrus and apricot-like fruitiness with resinous bitterness.

2 Sour beers

On the Sour side are `Auroraphobia` and `Lollyphobia`. `Auroraphobia` is a DH Sour IPA, built around dark berries, mango, raspberry, sweet cherry, and a touch of vanilla blended into the fruit profile. `Lollyphobia` is also a DH Sour IPA, with a sweet-and-sour character built from strawberry, pineapple, and marshmallow.

The atmosphere at the bar

Drifter’s stand is a small beer pub in Togoshi-Ginza where craft beer and outdoor culture blend together naturally. It pairs well with slowly working through heavier Hazy beers or resetting your palate with Sours, and beer lovers can enjoy the differences between styles as the main point of comparison. When new releases from a distinctive brewery like Totopia come in, the bar’s atmosphere becomes even more firmly beer-focused.
