Sakura Taps, located on the second floor of Noraneko Street in Yoshida-machi, Yokohama, is a beer pub where you can enjoy craft beer in a calm setting. With eight taps rotated daily, the shop featured two draft beers in service on its May 3 business day.

On Tap That Day

- LOCOMOTION / Nara Brewing
A beer built on a West Coast IPA base, balancing the refreshing character of citrus hops with tropical aromas. Notes reminiscent of grapefruit are layered with a bright pineapple-driven aroma, while bitterness remains restrained. It is a light-bodied beer, yet it still leaves a strong juiciness behind.

- Rejouir Saison 12-Month Aged Ver. / Sakura Taps × Yorocco Beer
A limited edition version made by aging Sakura Taps' 10th anniversary beer, “Rejouir Saison,” for 12 months, and this was announced as the truly final serving. Sweet aromas and pear-like nuances derived from Belgian yeast are layered with a subtle acidity and hop fragrance. While carrying a substantial body, it finishes dry and crisp, with the spicy character typical of saison yeast also coming through.

On this late-stage Golden Week day, it was a lineup that made you want to keep drinking while watching the condition of the kegs. Sakura Taps is known for carefully communicating each beer's character, along with an atmosphere that lets guests linger over both drinks and food. Rather than flashy presentation, it is a place for people who want to take their time checking out the beer's aroma and mouthfeel.
