Koenji’s Citraba Taps Miyazaki Hideji’s “Kyushu CRAFT Kinkan” and Thornbridge’s “Green Mountain”
At Craft Beer Tavern Citraba in Koenji, Miyazaki Hideji Beer’s “Kyushu CRAFT Kinkan” and Thornbridge’s “Green Mountain” have been newly tapped. In addition, Craftrock Brewing x Citraba Nakano’s anniversary beer has also started flowing at the Koenji location.
Two new guest beers have been tapped at the Koenji beer pub, Craft Beer Tavern Citraba.
The first is Miyazaki Hideji Beer’s “Kyushu CRAFT Kinkan.” It is a fruit ale lavishly made with kinkan, a specialty of southern Kyushu, and offers the fruit’s regional aroma, a gentle tartness, and the clean flavor of Kyushu-grown barley. Because the fruit character comes forward, it is easy to pair with a first pint.
The second is Thornbridge’s “Green Mountain.” This aromatic hazy session IPA uses Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo in generous amounts, layering pine-like hop impressions with notes of pineapple, lychee, and apricot. Though it is designed to be light and sessionable, it still delivers plenty of aromatic depth.
The post also announces that Craftrock Brewing x Citraba Nakano’s anniversary beer, “Citrus on the Rock,” has also started flowing at the Koenji location. On April 5, the 4th Citran will be held, and on April 11 and 12, the Koenji branch’s 7th anniversary event is also planned, so the lineup has been gradually getting fuller ahead of the shop’s milestones.
Located in Koenji Kita, Citraba is the kind of place that makes it easy to enjoy beer as the star. With a fruit-forward beer, a hop-forward beer, and an anniversary collaboration all on tap, now is the perfect time to compare them side by side and see what suits your taste.
