NUMBER 6, a beer pub in Koamicho, Nihonbashi, Tokyo, will hold “NUMBER 6 SPORTS CLUB #2 RUN & BEER!!!” on Saturday, September 26. Yellow Monkey Brewing representative Komada will join the event as a special guest and run with participants.

The beer lineup includes five distinctive selections. Yellow Monkey Brewing will pour “TORIAEZU,” a Sake Yeast IPA combining hop character, the aroma of sake yeast, and a Japanese umami note. Its second beer, “SHIBIRE,” is a Japanese Spice Ale made for fans of sansho pepper and its tingling spice.

Grandline Brewing’s “Mr.Patriot” is a Geki-Niga IPA with an IBU level exceeding 200, emphasizing an intensely bitter, hop-forward profile. Kyoto Brewing will offer “大外一気,” a Hoppy Lager created in collaboration with the Japan Racing Association. Its name refers to a horse coming from the back of the field to overtake the competition and finish first.

Kyoto Beer Lab’s “Second Wind” is a Recovery Beer brewed for people after exercise, work, or any demanding effort. The brewery describes it as expressing the refreshing, cooling sensation of a sports drink through beer.

Participants in the run receive one complimentary Premium Malt’s or soft drink. NUMBER 6 offers a compact beer-pub setting in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi Koamicho, making it a natural stop for a post-run drink and conversation. The venue will be reserved from 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on the day, so non-participants should plan their visit outside those hours.
