Craft Beer Spot Hathor taps Sage and Tono no Kaze
Craft Beer Spot Hathor in Kyobashi, Osaka posted a two-keg tap update featuring Sage from FARO BREWING × KARAKURI and Tono no Kaze, a hop-forward IPA from Good Hops.
Craft Beer Spot Hathor, a beer pub in Kyobashi, Osaka, has been running since 2015 with 16 taps and house-smoked food. In its latest tap update, the bar kept the lineup to two beers, making the day’s offerings easy to read and very much in line with its beer-first identity.
Today's open kegs
- `Sage / FARO BREWING × KARAKURI`
- `Tono no Kaze / Good Hops`
`Sage` is a collaboration brewed for KARAKURI’s 8th anniversary. The brewery note says it was inspired by Stillwater’s Cellar Door Saison, and the beer carries a story centered on sage, longevity, and a long-standing friendship between the breweries involved. It is a fitting release for a milestone beer.
`Tono no Kaze` is an IPA brewed with 100% Tono-grown hops. It uses Good Hops’ own new hop variety, No Wind, as the lead ingredient, with Tono-grown Magnum as an accent. The beer is described as offering a soft hop aroma, alongside green apple and pear-like fruit character, finishing with a light, easy-drinking impression.
Hathor often highlights beers with clear themes, and this update is a good example: one anniversary collaboration with a saison-like lineage, and one hop-driven IPA built around local hop character. Paired with the pub’s smoked snacks, it makes for a straightforward but appealing tap list for beer fans in Osaka.
