What Arrived

At the beer pub "Sarunokoshikake" in Saginuma, Miyamae Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Shiga Kogen Beer (Tamamura Honten)'s wood barrel-aged Yamabushi series was confirmed. The posted image shows two bottles, "Wood Barrel-Aged Yamabushi blonde" and "Wood Barrel-Aged Yamabushi ume dark", both of which appear to have arrived as guest beers.

Beers Available

- Wood Barrel-Aged Yamabushi blonde / Tamamura Honten (Shiga Kogen Beer)
- Wood Barrel-Aged Yamabushi ume dark / Tamamura Honten (Shiga Kogen Beer)

What makes the wood barrel-aged Yamabushi series interesting is that even though it's the same "Yamabushi," the finished expression clearly differs. This pair, as the names suggest, is `blonde` and `ume dark`, and just the difference in color alone makes you want to keep going back for another sip. Drinking while checking the barrel-derived nuances and the outline of the base beer makes the character of the series come through even more.

"Sarunokoshikake" is a beer pub in Saginuma where it's easy to relax and enjoy a drink. In addition to the fun of drinking fresh keg beer on tap, the timing when limited beers like these come in is hard for beer lovers to miss. When you want to sit down and drink slowly near the station, an arrival like this seems like a good reason to go out.
