An Ebetsu Brewery Appears at Kobe Hankyu

North Island Beer will exhibit at the "Early Summer Hokkaido Products Fair" held in the event hall on the 9th floor of Kobe Hankyu (Chuo Ward, Kobe City). The event runs from May 13 to 19, and about 10 kinds of craft beer will be on offer at the venue. In addition to take-home sales, a key feature is that visitors can enjoy draft beer on the spot, and the eat-in space also allows food purchased at the venue to be brought in and paired with the beer.

This fair is being planned as an early-summer product event centered on Hokkaido soft-serve ice cream and shrimp gourmet dishes. In the style of a department store event, it is designed so visitors can enjoy not only beer but also flavors from all over Hokkaido at once, making it a good match for those who want to enjoy a meal together with craft beer.

What Is North Island Beer?

North Island Beer is a brewery in Ebetsu, Hokkaido. On its official website, it presents the idea of "Beer is Art," based on the experience of a brewer who trained in Canada. In addition to five regular beers, it also brews limited-edition and seasonal beers, and its appeal lies in expressing character through both its standard and limited offerings.

The lineup offered at the event should provide a chance to experience that breadth of the brewery as it is. It will be possible to enjoy a glass delivered from Ebetsu to Kobe alongside Hokkaido gourmet food.
