Kamata’s beer pub [Mug Bar] clearly announced its business hours for the day: "private booking from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., and guests welcome after 6:00 p.m." At the same time, it released its tap list, confirming five beers currently on offer, plus two NEXT selections, and one canned beer announced inside the shop.

The first beer highlighted in the post is Kyoto Brewing’s Winter Whim 2026. Food-wise, iburigakko potato salad was also introduced, making for a lineup that pairs easily with lighter snacks.

The day’s “today’s beers” lineup is as follows.

- Asahi Jukusen (Pilsner / 5.5%)

By lining up multiple IPA styles with different strengths and personalities, while also placing one pilsner in the mix, the selection is easy to use for side-by-side tasting or for drinking steadily through the night. The pub also asked guests to contact them in advance if coming with a dog, reflecting the careful hospitality that makes Mug Bar feel like a neighborhood beer pub.
