In a post on Instagram from craft beer "Extra Hop," a craft beer hub in Chuo-machi, Oita, posted on March 19, 2026, the shop revealed its weekend business hours and details on its next event.

First, the beer bar will be open on March 20 (holiday) from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The post announced, "Beer bar service starts on the evening before the three-day weekend," and, as is typical for this keg-turning bar, also noted that there are multiple kegs nearing depletion. If there’s a beer you want to drink, it would be safest to visit early.

Also noteworthy is the planned faló brewing tap takeover on Sunday, April 5. No individual beer names have been announced yet, but it should be a chance to drink a brewery’s lineup all at once, so it’s worth keeping an eye on the announcement stage until the selection is revealed.

The post also reported on last Sunday’s 4th-anniversary event, "BEER & LIVE," saying that nearly 70 liters of beer were consumed. It’s a figure that shows just how much energy the shop draws from local beer fans.

From an everyday pint to event hunting, Extra Hop’s appeal is that you can keep track of both "what’s on tap now" and "what’s coming next." Its location in central Oita City also makes it easy to stop by after work. It’s a good place to visit for a quick drink before the holiday, or as a scouting trip ahead of the April TTO.
