Noroshi Brewery’s NZ IPA on tap

Bakusyushokudou 3F-22 in Sendai’s Nibancho area introduced Noroshi Brewery’s NZ IPA as its “craft beer of the day.” The beer is an IPA at 7.0% ABV, and the post frames it as a new tap for a brewery the shop had been interested in for some time.

The tasting notes emphasize a grain-driven sweetness, followed by a slightly alcoholic finish that lingers on the nose. The aroma is described as having white-grape and blood-orange character, giving the beer a clean but distinctive accent within a classic IPA structure. It sounds like a beer that balances familiarity and aromatic nuance rather than pushing into extremes.

Bakusyushokudou 3F-22 is a beer pub known for pairing craft beer with Asian-inspired dishes. Located on the third floor of a building near Kotodai-Koen and Kitayobancho in Sendai, it has the feel of a tucked-away spot. That setting suits a beer like this well: one that can be enjoyed on its own, or alongside spiced food and other savory dishes. The shop also keeps flexible hours, with daytime takeout and delivery service plus evening dine-in service on weekdays.
