Beer&Cafe Hafen taps three beers including Ise Kadoya Beer's "Nikukyuu IPA"
Beer&Cafe Hafen in Esaka, Osaka, has published its latest tap list. The lineup features Ise Kadoya Beer's "Nikukyuu IPA," HINO BREWING's "Gold Ban!," and St. Gallen's "Shonan Gold," creating a selection that pairs easily with food.
The beer pub "Beer&Cafe Hafen" in Esaka, Osaka, has announced its latest tap list. In the post, three newly tapped beers were introduced: Ise Kadoya Beer's "Nikukyuu IPA," HINO BREWING's "Gold Ban!," and St. Gallen's "Shonan Gold."
According to the brewery's description, "Nikukyuu IPA" is a dry West Coast IPA brewed as its 29th anniversary beer. Made with Pilsner malt and rice, this beer combines Strata, Krush, and ADHA 1631 hops, and is said to feature citrus and piney impressions, along with aromas reminiscent of mango and passion fruit. At Hafen, the idea is to enjoy this well-defined IPA as a food-pairing beer.
"Gold Ban!" is a three-way collaboration between Swan Lake Beer Brewery, POLISH HOPS, and HINO BREWING. Based on a golden ale, it makes use of the gentle aroma of Polish hops and is said to be crafted with a balance of lightness and drinking depth in mind. It looks like a beer that works well on its own or alongside light dishes.
On the fruitier side, "Shonan Gold" is also on tap. The shop's notice also highlights a recent popular food item, "stir-fried sweet garlic sprouts and pork with black pepper," and the lineup makes it easy to build a wide range of food pairings, from hop-forward beers to citrusy styles and golden ales.
The post also previews another future candidate: Ise Kadoya Beer's "Mugi no Manimani." Beer&Cafe Hafen is an Esaka beer pub where multiple draft beers are always on tap, making it a good spot for those who want to relax and compare beers at a calm pace. Please note that reservations are required for parties of three or more.
