The beer pub "NEIGHBOR craftbeer&grill" in Nogata, Nakano Ward, Tokyo, announced a refresh of its draft lineup. This time, as New on Taps, eight labels are on offer, creating a lineup where you can enjoy a wide range of styles all at once, from fruit beers, lager, dark lager, red ale, session IPA, double IPA, Schwarz Weizen, to amber IPA.

The current lineup is as follows.

- Gangi Brewing "WILY FOX" / Dunkel 5%
- O'Hara's Brewery "Irish Red" / Red Ale 4.3%

According to the description, Yokohama Bay Brewing's "Yuzu Weizen" is a fruit weizen made with yuzu from Kanagawa Prefecture, a brew where banana-like yeast-derived aromas are layered with the bright citrus notes of yuzu. It seems well suited to people looking for a light, easy-drinking draft beer.

Meanwhile, Gangi Brewing's "WILY FOX" is a dunkel brewed in collaboration with Yamamorido. It is introduced as a beer where toasty notes reminiscent of biscuits and cacao are layered with herbal and faint citrus aromas. In addition, Minoh Beer's "Sansho W-IPA" is a 9% double IPA, a distinctive beer using sansho pepper. For those seeking a solid body and strong aroma, it's one to watch.

On the food side, the pub is introducing white potato salad, charcoal-grilled greater amberjack, maguro carpaccio, house-made sausages with mozzarella and basil, Italian hot dogs, jerk chicken rice, and pasta with cod milt and Kujo negi in tomato sauce. It seems easy to build a meal around the beer styles, from light appetizers to hearty meat dishes and a final plate to finish.

The shop is "craftbeer&grill" in a residential area of Nogata, and the post says it opens today at 17:00. It also notes precautions such as bringing a leash, diaper, and cage if bringing a dog, and that bicycles cannot be parked there. It's the kind of spot that's handy when you want to casually compare draft beers.
