Sakazuki Lab in Adachi highlights a dining-only sake and summer beer lineup
Sakazuki Lab in Adachi Ward, Tokyo, announced an August 30, 13:00 opening alongside a dining-only sake, Kihotsuru Junmai Daiginjo Ichigo, and a seasonal beer, Heat Stroke. The post reflects the Kita-Senju bar’s usual mix of house brewing, sake, and food pairing.
Sakazuki Lab, in Adachi Ward, Tokyo, is the Kita-Senju sister venue connected to Sakazuki Brewing. As a former location turned “Lab,” it has built a reputation for posting daily tap changes, sake picks, and food updates, making the bar feel like a neighborhood place where beer and food are closely tied together.
In the August 30 post, the shop announced a 13:00 opening and highlighted a dining-only sake, Kihotsuru Junmai Daiginjo Ichigo from Saga. The release is described as a special brew built around the idea of "ichigo ichie," with a balance of aromatic lift and clean umami. It is positioned as a bottle meant to be enjoyed in a restaurant setting, rather than as a general retail item.
On the beer side, Heat Stroke was released at the Lab as well. The annual beer uses passion fruit shipped from farmers in the Ogasawara Islands, and this year it adds tequila. The shop also noted that it can be served without foam to emphasize the liquid itself, or as a tonic-style drink. That gives the beer a distinctly summer profile, with bright fruit and a sharper alcohol edge.
The update also said Stardust Old had sold out, while Twilight and Punk IPA were running low. For food, chicken breast yurinchi returned to the menu, designed to match chilled beer. The post captures Sakazuki Lab’s usual formula clearly: limited sake, seasonal beer, and a dish that works with both.
