Sakaduki Brewing to launch tequila-blended Heat Stroke on August 6
Sakaduki Brewing in Tokyo's Adachi Ward shared its August 2 tap lineup and announced a Thursday, August 6 release for Heat Stroke, a new passion-fruit beer brewed with fruit from the Ogasawara Islands and blended with tequila at more than 9% ABV.
Sakaduki Brewing, a brewpub in Kitasenju, Adachi Ward, Tokyo, has shared its tap lineup for August 2 and the schedule for this week's releases. The board features 15 beers, including shy girl (Bohemian Pilsner), Hibi-tantan (American Pale Ale), Komorebi (fruit beer), and Stardust (Hazy IPA). Toki-dorobo is also listed as nearly sold out.
The main upcoming release is Heat Stroke, set to open on Thursday, August 6. This 2026 passion-fruit beer uses fruit delivered from the Ogasawara Islands, and this year's version is blended with tequila and pushed above 9% ABV. Sakaduki says the beer will be served in 200 ml pours in the bar, with 300 ml pours in the taproom, reflecting its higher strength. The brewery describes the beer as a dense, tropical, juicy expression of passion fruit with tequila helping sharpen the profile.
Food pairing service will also run that day, and unlike the usual setup, it will be held on Thursday. Sakaduki Brewing has built its name on house-brewed beer and food pairings in the Kitasenju area, with a steady stream of seasonal and limited releases. Its sister spot, Sakaduki Lab, is also lining up August events, so the neighborhood's beer calendar is set to stay busy through the month.
