The beer pub “BEER & MUSIC Cafe Raison-do” in Ibaraki, Osaka, has announced on Instagram that it will hold its 19th anniversary appreciation festival. In a post dated May 14, the venue said it will turn a full 19 years old on May 18 and that the milestone event will take place from May 22 to 24.
On May 22 and 23, draft beer will be offered at special prices. The main festival on the 24th will be a limited opening for customers who have visited at least twice before, and brewery-provided novelty items will also be available by lottery that day. In the basement space, it is shaping up to be a Raison-do-style anniversary event centered on beer and music.
The draft lineup for the day is broad. It includes Beeren Brewery’s “Mai Bock : Mai Bock” and “Alt : Alt,” Ise Kadoya Brewery’s “Sake Lees Hazy IPA ZAKU Shinryoku : Hazy IPA,” Mikkeller Beer × Minoh Beer’s “Ume-chu : Sour Beer,” Iwate Kura Beer’s “Rasberry Pink : Fruit Beer,” Pilsner Urquell’s “Draught Pilsner Urquell : Pilsner,” and SAPPORO BEER’s “SORACHI 1984 : Pilsner.” From bock and alt to hazy IPA, sour beer, fruit beer, and Czech pilsner, the lineup has the wide-ranging feel that suits an anniversary celebration.
Looking further ahead, Minoh Beer’s “Osaru IPA : Golden Ale IPA,” Beeren Brewery’s “Colonia : Kölsch,” and REPUBREW × Nomcraft’s “SOUPY WEIZEN / Weizen” have also been previewed as future candidates. For a place near Ibaraki City Station where you can enjoy the changing rotation of craft beers, this is a milestone worth paying attention to.
