At craft beer "Extra Hop," a pub on the first floor of the Okunohosomichi Building in Chuo-machi, Oita City, two fresh taps went live ahead of the three-day weekend.

The new arrivals are FARMENTRY / DARK MILD and OK, ADAM / Flipper Sour.

- FARMENTRY / DARK MILD: A traditional southern English dark mild, listed at 3.0% ABV. It is described as a low-alcohol beer with a calm malt balance, suited to slow sipping.
- OK, ADAM / Flipper Sour: A hard cider made with ripe plums. The shop notes a balance of acidity and fruit character that works well in hot weather.

The post also says two kegs from CRAFT BEER BASE were close to finishing, while a first-time pour from UCHOTEN Brewing was disappearing quickly. That kind of rapid turnover is part of the appeal of a tap-focused pub: what is on the board can change from one visit to the next.

Extra Hop has also announced its summer operating schedule through Aug. 31. Lunch service will be offered only on Jul. 24, 31 and Aug. 21, 28. Wednesday evenings will also run as bar service from 5:30 p.m., and weekends will be open continuously from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The shop will be closed on Aug. 20, and electronic Oita City premium gift certificates are accepted.

With a lineup ranging from a gentle dark mild to a fruit-driven cider, Extra Hop continues to offer the kind of selection that gives beer fans a reason to stop by after work.
