The Hokkaido Ebetsu craft brewery North Island Beer announced details for its factory sale day on May 30. In the post, it said that use of the "Ebetsu Life Support Gift Certificates" will start from this day, and that both the "All-Store Common Ticket" and the "Small Business Exclusive Ticket" can be used. No change will be given, so customers should be careful, but they can also be used together with credit cards or PayPay.

The beer available by weight at the sale is "Autumn Lager". The price is 2.0 yen per gram, and a plastic cup for 650 yen will also be available, along with some rare kegs. The announcement says visitors will be accepted until 5:00 p.m., making it a chance to choose beer directly at the Ebetsu brewery.

North Island Beer is a brewery based in Ebetsu, Hokkaido. According to its official website, the brand began with a brewer who trained in Canada, and in addition to its five regular beers it also offers limited and seasonal products. In central Sapporo, it also operates its own Beer Bar NORTH ISLAND, creating a setup where people can enjoy Ebetsu craft beer in multiple ways.

Factory sale days are appealing because they let people pick up beers they usually enjoy in bottles or kegs while experiencing the atmosphere on site. A day like this, when regional gift certificates can be used, is likely to draw attention as a local shopping opportunity as well.
