A drink centered on IPA in Takashimadaira

Near Takashimadaira Station, next to the local Chinese eatery "Hana Maru," "Beer Pub Kirigirisu" is a compact beer pub with five counter seats and two tables. It is known as a place where you can take your time enjoying craft beers from Japan and abroad in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere.

The draught beers confirmed in this post are Ushitora Brewery’s "Lime-Infused Brut IPA" and BrewDog’s "Punk IPA." The former is introduced as having a light drinking impression despite its 7% alcohol content, making it an intriguing beer with a lime-like accent and the crisp finish characteristic of Brut IPA. The latter is a well-known label in cans and bottles as well, but being able to drink it on draught is a welcome point for beer lovers.

In the bottle selection, the intended choice was "SCHLENKERLA RAUCH BIER Marzen" (Heller Brewery), but it was sold out, so the choice shifted to the American canned beer "Incredible Pedal IPA" (Denver Beer Co.). As a result, the day’s lineup had a wide range, centered on IPA but also spanning from smoky Rauchbier to American IPA. The blackboard menu also showed sold-out notices, and the food options included Cajun chicken and a skillet of grilled leeks, conveying how well the snacks pair with the beers.
