Session's Brewery Hiroshima, a brewpub in Tokaichi-machi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima, has announced canned versions of its core beer, Tachimachi. The beer is also being offered through the shop's online and EC channels, making it easier to enjoy beyond the taproom.

The update comes with a new label design, giving the can a look that feels more distinctly Hiroshima and more in line with Session's Brewery's style. The recipe itself remains unchanged, but the brewery says it has refined the brewing process and handling to make the beer taste even better.

Tachimachi was originally created as a seasonal beer intended to pair with BBQ and outdoor drinking occasions, but it quickly won over drinkers who wanted it year-round. That demand helped turn it into a regular beer in the lineup. It is a Session IPA with an ABV of 4.5% and an IBU of 18. The hop bill features Citra, Simcoe, and Nelson Sauvin, while the malt base uses Pilsner, Munich, and Carapils.

In the glass, the beer is built for easy drinking without feeling thin. The Nelson Sauvin contributes a crisp white-grape note, while Citra adds a juicy citrus layer. The finish stays dry and clean, so the hop character remains vivid without becoming heavy. It is the kind of Session IPA that works well as a first pint, but still has enough personality to keep you coming back.

The brewery sits in a convenient central Hiroshima location, and the brewpub setting makes it a good place to enjoy fresh beer on site. With the canned release, Tachimachi becomes even more flexible: easy to take home, easy to share, and easy to pair with food. BBQ is the obvious match, but grilled meats and charred vegetables would fit comfortably alongside it as well.
