BREW CLASSIC’s "Let's La Pause" Goes on Tap at Beer House Hobbit in Hirakata, Osaka
At the beer pub Beer House Hobbit in Hirakata City, Osaka, BREW CLASSIC’s West Coast IPA "Let's La Pause" went on tap on March 18. It is being introduced as a beer with resinous hoppy aromas, citrus-like bitterness, and juicy character. The six draft beers on tap that day are also worth noting.
At Beer House Hobbit (Kawaramachi, Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture), guest beer "Let's La Pause (West Coast IPA)" from BREW CLASSIC in Ishikawa Prefecture has gone on tap. The post notes that this is the first BREW CLASSIC offering at the shop in quite some time.
This "Let's La Pause" is characterized by hop-derived herbal notes reminiscent of resin, bitterness like citrus peel, and a fruity, juicy drinking impression. It is designed to deliver a substantial drinking experience, with a sweetness that can also be felt within its firm bitterness.
The draft lineup announced for the same day consists of these six beers:
- Beer House Hobbit x Shima Brewing "AOSORA Refresh Lager"
- Minamishinshu Beer "Apple Hop -Orin-"
- Minamishinshu Beer "Apple Hop -Apple Trio-"
- Hirakata Beer "Session Citra White"
- BREW CLASSIC "Let's La Pause"
- Daisen G Beer "Barley Wine 2025"
From local Hirakata labels to breweries from outside the prefecture, the lineup offers a wide range of styles, making it easy to build a progression from the first pour to a darker finish. Food suggestions that bring out bitterness and aroma are also included, such as tempura of Brussels sprouts and Daito shimeji mushrooms, and iburigakko with cream cheese.
It is a beer-pub kind of day that can be enjoyed not only for the drinking itself, but also for the time spent thinking, after work, about which tap to start with. For West Coast IPA fans especially, this is a tap update worth checking out, and it should not be missed by anyone who enjoys comparing different beers.
