The beer pub “...04&Beer,” located in Nishiborimaedori 8-bancho, Chuo Ward, Niigata City, announced its latest tap list on Instagram.

The day’s lineup consisted of five beers: Heller Weizenbock / Plank Brewery (Bavaria), Amber Swan Ale / Swan Lake Beer (Niigata), Purple Sky Pale Ale / Y.MARKET BREWING (Aichi), Baby Blonde Miyama / Shiga Kogen Beer (Nagano), and MINOHBEER STOUT (Real Ale) / Minoh Beer (Osaka). In addition to well-known domestic breweries, the list also included a Bavarian beer, creating a lineup with a wide range of styles to compare.

The standout here is Shiga Kogen Beer’s “Baby Blonde Miyama.” In the post, it is introduced as a blonde ale made with sake rice, Miyamanishiki, and described as a lighter version of the standard “Miyama Blonde.” This time, the shop is trying the same beer on a regular tap instead of a ball tap to see how it differs. The shop also said, “We had a quick taste, and it really is different,” making this a beer worth paying attention to for anyone interested in how pouring affects flavor.

What makes this list especially appealing is the clear spread of styles, from a Bavarian weizenbock to a Niigata amber ale, an Aichi pale ale, and an Osaka stout. It is a lineup that feels very true to ...04&Beer in the Furumachi area, where even the way the beer is poured is part of the experience. The post also notes that the shop opens at 5 p.m. today, making it easy to stop by after work.
