CraftBeerWorks KAMIKAZE in Osaka refreshes 15 taps with two limited Hazy IPAs
CraftBeerWorks KAMIKAZE, a beer pub in Osaka’s Kitahorie area, has updated its 15-tap lineup. The list runs from familiar lagers like Pilsner Urquell and Asahi to limited Hazy IPAs from Shiga Kogen Beer and Minoh Beer, plus tea-, coffee-, and plum-driven beers.
CraftBeerWorks KAMIKAZE, a beer pub in Osaka’s Kitahorie district, has refreshed its tap list with 15 beers. The lager end is especially solid, with Pilsner Urquell, Asahi Super Dry, Asahi Maruef Kuro Nama, CHORYO Craft Beer’s Ride The Dragon, and NAMACHA'n Brewing’s Premium Lager. It is an easy place to start with a familiar pint before moving into more expressive styles.
The middle and back end of the lineup lean into character. Fermentary’s Zhendan Saison and Dark Mild, Hansharo Beer’s Toretate Green Tea Ale, Barbaric Works’ Alone At Party, Mugizakkoku Kobo’s IRODORI Saison UME, Ushitora Brewery’s Sachihop, Shiga Kogen Beer’s Indian Summer Saison and SNOW MONKEY IPA Orange ver., and Minoh Beer’s COFFEE IPA and Vit Natt IPA give the tap list a wide range of tea, plum, coffee, and hop-driven flavors. Among them, SNOW MONKEY IPA Orange ver. and Vit Natt IPA stand out as the two limited Hazy IPA choices.
KAMIKAZE remains the kind of beer pub where a broad tap list fits naturally with food. It is a place for working through styles at a relaxed pace, though the venue notes that seating may be limited to two hours during busy periods, so it makes sense to start with the beers you most want to try.
