Natural Roots Studio (Repubrew), based in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, will release a new beer, "Super CAMPai HAZY PALE ALE," on April 5. Natural Roots Studio is known as Repubrew's second factory, where beer and distilled spirits are made using solar power and natural water from the Fuji-Hakone system.

This new release is seen as following the stream of "CAMPai HAZY," which has developed through a collaboration with Izu no Nushi Fishing. In a Repubrew column, the series was described as being built around the theme of "outdoor play," with a bright aroma, a light mouthfeel, and a clean finish. That design philosophy, suited to camping and time around the fire, also carries through to this new release.

According to the publicly available recipe information, the base malts are Pilsner, Pale Ale, Maris Otter, Wheat, and Oats, and the hops used are Talus, Loral, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra. With an ABV of 5.0% and an IBU of 8.8, the numbers suggest a hazy beer that is relatively easy to drink. The fact that it includes "PALE ALE" in its name also suggests a beer aimed at being approachable for everyday drinking or drinking outdoors, while still offering a full aroma.

For fans of CAMPai HAZY, this is a release worth watching as a new interpretation of the series. It should also catch the attention of anyone looking for a hazy beer that is not too heavy, as a new release from Mishima.
