New Tap

At the Chigasaki beer pub HOP MAN, Noboribetsu local beer Oni Densetsu's "Kinoni Pale Ale CGX Strata Single Ver." has just been tapped.

This beer comes in at ABV 5.5% / IBU 45. According to the brewery, CGX is a special hop that concentrates the same lupulin as cryo-style hops. It uses the same amount of hops as the regular Kinoni Pale Ale, but on a T90 basis it works out to about 1.5 times as much. It has a Mosaic-like impression, with layers of tropical, passion fruit, mango, and citrus notes, and the bitterness is sharp, making for a satisfying finish.

HOP MAN is a beer pub located on the 2nd floor of Sunrize Shonan in Jukkenzaka, Chigasaki City, Kanagawa. For beer fans who follow rotating taps, the arrival of a guest beer with this much character makes the trip even more worthwhile. For anyone looking for a drink that offers the easygoing qualities of a regular beer while still letting you clearly taste the hops, this new tap is hard to overlook.

With the clean drinkability and hop presence typical of the Kinoni Pale Ale series, it's a new tap that makes you want to check that balance for yourself at a Chigasaki counter.
