DD4D Brewing to bring Don Jalapeño to Tsukuba Craft Beer Fest 2026
Ehime-based DD4D Brewing has announced its lineup for Tsukuba Craft Beer Fest 2026, held from October 16 to 18. The brewery will feature Don Jalapeño, a jalapeño IPA, alongside background on its Matsuyama roots and long-running craft beer project.
Ehime's DD4D Brewing has announced that it will take part in Tsukuba Craft Beer Fest 2026. In its post, the brewery highlighted Don Jalapeño / Jalapeño IPA as one of the main beers on offer.
The beer is described as a jalapeño-forward IPA with firm hop bitterness and tropical aroma. Suggested food pairings include fried chicken, fries, hamburgers, sausages, meat dishes, and spicy food. The event format also encourages visitors to buy a reusable cup or bring their own glass, with food and drinks purchased directly from each booth.
DD4D began in 1998 as a select shop in Matsuyama, Ehime, and evolved in 2019 into DD4D BREWING & CLOTHING STORE with a brewery inside the store. In 2021, a second brewery was added in nearby Mitsuhama. Since then, the brewery has released more than 300 beers in Japan and overseas, while building collaborations across sports, apparel, confectionery, film, and other fields.
With that background, the Tsukuba appearance fits DD4D's broader approach: bringing Matsuyama-born ideas into public beer events. The festival runs from October 16 to 18 at Tsukuba Center Square.
