Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand (1F Greenpia Honkomagome, 5-71-3 Honkomagome, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) shared its operating information for March 26 along with the day’s tap list. Its weekday hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and it is closed on Wednesdays.

The highlight this time is a 10-tap lineup that makes it easy to build your own tasting flight in a single day. Alongside hop-forward beers with distinct characters such as `Kohatu Pale Ale` (NZ Pale Ale), `DH Red Ale` (Dry Hopped Red Ale), and `Sauvin Belgo Brut` (Dry Hopped Saison), the board also includes lighter, brighter options like `Ryūsōsō` (`流水草々`, Italian Pilsner) and `Yuzu Sour Saison`.

Also on tap are `Black IPA a.k.a. Kuro Hitsuji no Ale` and `Belgian Hazy IPA a.k.a. Shiro Hitsuji no Ale`, both listed as collaborations with Sanriku Beer. Being able to choose at the same time between a dark, roast-and-hop-heavy beer and a hazy beer that makes the most of Belgian yeast character is part of the appeal of a brewery-owned taproom. To finish, `Kurotobi #4` (Belgian Stout) is available as well, and if you work your way up from the low-ABV `Komagome Best Bitter`, you can build a very clean flavor progression.

The shop’s notice says food during regular service is limited to light snacks (with a No food listing). In other words, the star of the show is clearly Japanese craft beer. The way the brewery posts updates also has a distinctly local feel, including the name of the person handling service, making it a place that leans into the experience of settling in for a drink nearby. Tonight, Honkomagome is the place to check Hinomoto’s core beers and collaborations across 10 taps.
