Saturday, April 25 is the Saturday event day for “Seiseki Spring Beer Festival 2026,” being held at the BBQ area and the space next to it on the 8th floor of Building A at Keio Seiseki Sakuragaoka Shopping Center. Nineteen breweries, including And Beer, will gather at the venue, creating a setup where visitors can compare craft beers from along the Keio Line all at once.

And Beer started in 2017 as a brewpub in Koenji-kita. Today, it brews in the natural surroundings of Katsunuma in Yamanashi, and at its taproom in Koenji, Tokyo, you can enjoy eight kinds of house-brewed beer on tap. Another appealing point that suits the shop’s character is how well its beers pair with spice dishes and curry, learned by the owner while traveling.

What deserves attention at this event is the limited beer “Tama no Myojo -2026 Spring Edition-,” jointly developed by Seiseki, the Matsumoto Seminar at Tama University, the Uzawa Class at Meisei University, and 26K Brewery. It is made with thinned cypress from Okutama and yuzu from the Tama region, and is presented as a glass that combines fruitiness and woodiness. It will be available in 330 ml bottles and 270 ml cups, and because quantities are limited, it is reassuring to check it out early.

The appeal of this event is being able to taste seasonal beer together with local breweries in the rooftop BBQ area. Because brewpubs like And Beer from Koenji line up with a focus on food pairing, the fun of comparing different beers expands even more.
