Beer O'clock taps Barbaric WORKS' The Spider Thread, with June events ahead
Beer O'clock, a craft-beer pub in Chiba's Fujimi area, has added Barbaric WORKS' The Spider Thread to its New Tap lineup. The bar is open through 11:30 p.m. on Fridays, and June also brings anniversary and guest events plus fresh bottles in the shop.
New Tap
Beer O'clock has put Barbaric WORKS' The Spider Thread on tap. The beer is a collaboration with Western-style brewer Brouwerij te Breetschoot and brewer Asuka Nishinaka. According to the bar's post, the finished foudre saison shows aromas from natural yeast, a woody accent, and a young, fresh profile. A small blend of barrel-aged beer was added to balance acidity and body.
A practical stop in Chiba
Beer O'clock is easy to work into a day in the Fujimi district of Chiba City. Its updated hours from April 2026 are: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 to 22:30; Friday and Saturday from 12:00 to 23:30; and Sunday and holidays from 12:00 to 22:00. Weekday lunch service runs from 12:00 to 15:00, so it works both as a lunch stop and as an after-work beer bar.
Bottle shop and June schedule
The bottle shop is also active, with a notice about a Miyazaki Hideji 30th-anniversary collaboration and four Pasific items in stock. On the events side, Beer O'clock has announced a 13th-anniversary beer reveal on June 21, a Maruho Saketen event on June 27, and a galette event with Myojone at Benten on June 28. For beer fans, it is a place where draft updates and event programming move together.
