Barrel-Aged Hojicha Stout Goes on Tap at Craft Beer Stand Tada in Higashi-Nagasaki
Craft Beer Stand Tada in Nagasaki, Toshima Ward, Tokyo, announced its latest tap lineup in a March 18 post. After Dank Drop was kicked, the barrel-aged series' "Barrel-Aged Hojicha Stout" was newly put on tap, giving the lineup five beers with distinct personalities.
Craft Beer Stand Tada, operating in the Higashi-Nagasaki area, shared its latest lineup on Instagram. In this update, the existing tap "Dank Drop" was kicked, and in its place "Barrel-Aged Hojicha Stout" appeared. In the post, it is introduced as a "hojicha version" of the barrel-aged stout that took first place in the Dark Beer category at the Japan Brewers Cup 2026, and it is mentioned as a beer where barrel-derived nuances can be clearly felt.
The current barrel-aged lineup consists of three taps: "Rum Cask IPA," "B.A.R," and "Hojicha Stout." The remaining two taps are "Strawberry Marche Milkshake IPA" and "Sashima Tea IPA," making for a lineup with a wide range, from roasted and woody directions to fruit-based and tea-based beers.
As a stand centered on craft beer, the shop's appeal lies in offering small pours across many styles, making it easy to compare and taste. Because the tap lineup changes significantly each time a tap turns over like this, both those chasing barrel-aged beers and those following limited-edition adjunct IPAs will find it easier to plan their visit by checking the latest post in advance. As of March 18, it is a moment when you can sample dark beers, barrel character, and characterful IPAs all in one place.
