In Tha Door Brewing to Reopen on April 1; Three-Day Anniversary Event for Its 20th Anniversary
In Tha Door Brewing (Hyogo) announced in a March 23 post that it will resume operations. After closing for February and March, the brewery will reopen on April 1. To mark the 20th anniversary of “IN THA DOOR,” it will also offer a welcome beer for three days only, from April 1 to 3.
In Tha Door Brewing announced on Instagram, “We’re finally reopening,” and revealed that it will resume operations on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
According to the post, the brewery was closed for two months in February and March. During the first reopening week, from Wednesday, April 1 to Friday, April 3, it will offer a welcome beer to celebrate both the reopening and its 20th anniversary, and business hours will be 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.. Construction is still ongoing at the local marine park, so operations are expected to continue with a different landscape and visitor flow than usual.
The brewery has been based in Koyocho Naka, Higashinada Ward, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture (inside Rokk Island Marine Park), and has continued making beer rooted in Kobe’s local context. On its official website, it promotes “LOCAL BEER,” using Kobe’s natural water, “Kobe Water Rokko Nunobiki no Mizu,” in its brewing, and also incorporates fruit and herbs from farms in and around Kobe.
This reopening announcement is not only about resuming business after the closure, but also about marking a milestone for the brand. For anyone who wants to enjoy a glass along with the unique atmosphere of springtime Kobe, these three days are likely not to be missed.
