Opening Four IPAs for Golden Week

Craft Beer Market Lucua Osaka announced its "GW Event 4-tap Opening List!!" on Instagram. This lineup features four beers from Teenage Brewing, Shiga Kogen Beer w/ DOGFISH HEAD × OXBOW, Totopia Brewery, and NAT.BREW. All four are IPA-focused, making this a lineup for people who want to enjoy hop aroma, bitterness, and a full body.

The shop is a beer pub on the B2 floor of Lucua Osaka, directly connected to Osaka Station. It is easy to stop by after shopping or work, and it works well for everything from daytime drinking to a meal. Since the food menu also pairs well with craft beer, it is easy to take your time and compare each glass as you go.

Opening List

- Teenage Brewing / SHOHEI Zen IPA
Features a rich, smooth fruit character brought by domestic persimmon. A collaboration beer that layers persimmon-derived sweetness over a thick, hazy body.

- Shiga Kogen Beer w/ DOGFISH HEAD × OXBOW / Kind of Gold
Made with Carolina Gold and Edisto Gold Honey for a richer profile. It is said to combine a hoppy, dry side with softness and roundness.

- Totopia Brewery / Loopphobia
A beer newly released on April 28. A hazy IPA with an ultra-rich body, passion fruit-like fruit aroma, candy-like nuances, and a dank character.

- NAT.BREW / Kusa Kusa no Kusa
A full-bodied triple IPA with strong bitterness. It is described as a powerful, highly drinkable beer brewed with a large amount of hops.

This time, four beers with very different personalities are lined up, ranging from fruity hazy styles to a triple IPA that puts bitterness front and center. If you love IPAs, it should be fun to think about the order in which you compare them. Its station-adjacent location also makes it easy to drop in casually, which feels very fitting for this place. If you're wondering where to have your first beer of Golden Week, this is a lineup worth keeping in mind.
