Kakuchi Asakura in Kyoto’s Kamigyo Ward operates as both a craft-beer and sake shop and a standing bar. The post says the venue offers five draft beer taps and around 10 kinds of sake, with growler fills available for customers who bring their own containers. It sits just north of Kitchen GON, near Nijōjō-mae Station.

In the July 29 Instagram post, this week’s “Pick up Brewery” was Yellow Beer Works from Fukushima. The featured pours were `Vitapo` (Sour Ale / 5.0%), `MILK&` (Milk smoothiy Sour Ale / 4.0%), and `免許返納!?` (Hazy IPA / 5.0%).

The day’s craft-beer tap list also included:

- `FARMENTATION` — `ZHENDAN 震旦 SAISON` (Spice Saison / Nara)
- `Yellow Beer Works` — `raiNing 僕のパンダのSesIPA` (Fukushima)
- `Inkhorn Brewing` — `Flocking` (Italian Pilsner / Tokyo)
- `CAMADO BREWERY` — `Anky Lager` (Gifu)
- `GARCIA BREWING` — `SOL NACIENTE` (Hazy IPA)

The result is a straightforward corner-style drinking spot with a rotating lineup that moves from sour ale and hazy IPA to Italian pilsner and lager. For beer drinkers, it is the kind of place where one visit can cover multiple styles while still leaving room for sake on the side.
