DD4D Brewing announces HONGAMA collaboration beer OAT de exercise
Matsuyama-based DD4D Brewing has announced a new collaboration beer with illustrator HONGAMA, titled OAT de exercise. Brewed as an Oat Cream IPA with Spices, it layers banana, cardamom, and tropical hop character into a creamy, oat-driven profile.
DD4D Brewing, based in Matsuyama, Ehime, announced a collaboration beer with illustrator HONGAMA on August 21: OAT de exercise. The beer is brewed as an `Oat Cream IPA with Spices`, with 6.0% ABV and 35 IBU. It continues DD4D's cross-genre approach, pairing beer with visual culture.
The recipe is built around a sweet, exotic aroma of banana and cardamom, then layered with hop notes reminiscent of peach, nectarine, pineapple, and coconut. Oats bring a creamy body and gentle sweetness, giving the beer a profile that moves between spice, fruit, and soft richness.
