Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara updates its tap list centered on three new HNB beers and Yatsugatake Touchdown
Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara has released its tap list dated April 12. Alongside three new HNB beers, the lineup ranges widely from Yatsugatake Touchdown staples to collaborations, making for a substantial selection befitting an Akihabara beer pub.
Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara has published its `26/4/12 Tap List`. This time, the lineup features three new HNB beers while building around a strong selection centered on Yatsugatake Touchdown. In the shop's post, the night up through the previous day was described as 'a wildly fun night with a clubroom vibe,' which also conveys the close, friendly feel typical of an Akihabara beer pub.
The highlights are three beers from Hiroshima's HNB. `Rinki Sakura Hen` is a wheat wine blended after aging in wine barrels and peat whisky barrels. `Sakura Momo Drops` is a Belgian white made with white peach juice and pickled cherry blossoms, and `Smoked Hiroshima Oyster Common` is a smoky common that uses the umami of Hiroshima Prefecture oysters. Each one has a clearly distinctive character.
The tap list also includes `Yatsugatake Touchdown / Pilsner`, `Dunkel`, `Kiyosato Lager`, `Rock Weizen`, `Rock Dry-Hopped Weizen ver.2`, `Weizenbock`, `Yamanashi Peach Weizen`, `Rock Helles`, and `Fresh Yuzu Lager`, offering everything from lagers to weizen styles and fruit-driven beers.
Also worth noting are the collaborations `Yatsugatake Touchdown x Serverland Akasakamitsuke x Scissors Akihabara / 102×69~Roggen Roll~` and `Yatsugatake Touchdown x Kyoto Brewing / Wanpaku Kozou`. In addition, `RePubrew / AGE AGE SAME AGE` and `Jungle Juice / Feel Your Monster` are on the list too, making this a lineup that invites side-by-side tasting.
Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara is a beer pub in the Akihabara area of Taito Ward, Taito 1-chome. On days like this, when a wide range of styles is lined up at once, it seems like the kind of place where you can work your way through everything in order, from a light first lager to barrel-aged beers and collaborations.
